David Li has been contributing to open source software since 1990. He is member of Free Software Foundation, committer to Apache projects and board director of ObjectWeb. Over the past 20 years, David has started several open source software projects and contributed to many others. In 2010, he co-founded XinCheJian, the first hackerspace in China to promote hacker/maker culture and open source hardware. In 2011, he co-founded Hacked Matter, a think tank on makers and open innovation. He In the past two years, he has become interested in urban farming and is an enthusiastic proponent of aquaponics, which brings the spirit of open source to farming and gardening. In 2015, he co-founded Maker Collider, a platform to develop next generation IoT from Maker community. He is also the director of Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab.
Sophie Yu joined China International Capital Corporation (UK) Limited in its Investment Banking Department in November 2014.
Sophie has 10 years of Investment Banking and Private Equity experience in Europe. Having started her career at Morgan Stanley in the M&A team based in London, Sophie subsequently spent two years in private equity both in Germany and in London focused on investments in the small and medium sized European industrial companies.
Whilst at Morgan Stanley her deal experience are focused on industrials, natural resources as well as Financial Institutions
Ms. Yu has an B.A. and M.A of Economics from the University of Cambridge. She speaks Mandarin, English and German.
Christian is a professor of Interactive Media Arts and Business at NYU Shanghai and the co-founder of the NYU Shanghai Program on Creativity and Innovation.
Christian's current VR project involves the creation of networked, spatially audio VR environments in locations throughout the world, starting with Abu Dhabi, New York and Shanghai. Using this system, people are able to enter these virtual spaces and interact with each other in realtime.
He has also created a networked multi-user room-scale VR music sequencer, which will be available for participants at TOA Berlin try out.
In his spare time, he likes to drink coffee, build computers, create financial volatility data visualizations and brew beer.

J Feverhas been a TED Talk speaker, and as performer has been invited to the Royal Opera House, featured on BBC TV, The Times and The Independent, and as a host for VICE Noisy. He is a featured speaker for the NEU Stage at TOA, and will be performing at NEU China Night @ Ritter Butzke.
LI Ge is co-founder and CEO of Pilot Music and Tech.
Before Pilot, he used to work as general manager of the National Integrated Marketing Center and Ecological Marketing Department in LeTV. He also consulted Red Bull China on brand building and marketing for many years.

During his career in the consulting and banking industry Matthiasdeveloped an appreciation for the Chinese national liquor “baijiu". He made it his life’s mission to bring this libations on to the global bar shelves by rebranding and leveraging their unique aromas.
Matthias and his partners at Capital Spirits have founded the world’s first baijiu bar in Beijing as well as the first craft distillery for gin in China. His company is currently working with major Chinese baijiu producers to make the world’s most consumed spirit go truly global.
Holding a Master Degree in Modern Chinese Studies, Matthias has more than 15 years experience of working in China and on the international stage. He speaks fluent German, English and Chinese.
Philipp is co-founder of FakeMusicMedia (FMM), a music agency created in 2009, based in Beijing & Berlin which books and promotes artist all over China/Asia and manages some of China´s best known international talent (e.g NOVA HEART & SHAO) FMM also runs music label FakeLoveMusic, digital marketing campaigns and worked with brands like Red Bulll, Chanel, Vice, W Hotel etc. Philipp recently wrote the most complete report about the Chinese Music Inustry to date for Music Norway. In 2015 he co-founded THE SUN SOCIETY, a network for creative workers in Asia. He also co-fonded M.A.D. (Music and Design) Festival in Beijingis also co-founder and festivaldirector of NEU China - a platform for showcasing China´s talent in the tech and cultural sector and knowledge exchange between China and Europe which holds its first edition in Berlin in July 2016..
